Job description

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. is currently seeking applicants for Sr. Computer Systems Technologist I positions at Fort Carson, CO. This position is in support of the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) Contract for the Digital Range Training System (DRTS). Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Computer Systems Technologist I position works in support of the Digital Range Training System (DRTS) network and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

Ensures that the DRTS network is fully operational and available for scheduled support missions

Receives the Government-furnished exercise information and ensures the DRTS ranges are prepared IAW unit scenarios

Provides input for unit AARs

Makes accurate, timely and complete entries into the AWARE Management Information System (MIS)

Manages and maintains DRTS hardware and software including the system network, the exercise database, and loads new system software.

Some positions may require travel to other installations and other ATMP locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.

Basic Qualifications

BS/BA in Engineering, Science or Math or 6 - 8 years of equivalent job experience

Four years’ experience as a Computer Systems Technologist or related position

Prefer past work experience with the DRTS network and ranges

Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges

Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Professional Skills

Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of course development and education methodology for working with adult learners in a military environment

Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service and decision-making skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
