Simulation Maintenance Technician II (NCM3) – Marana
Phoenix Logistics, Inc. is currently seeking applicants for a Simulation Maintenance Technician II position at Marana, AZ. This position is in support of the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) Contract for the NCM3 platform. The Simulation Maintenance Technician II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment for the NCM3 platform. Examples are:
Performs PMCS, troubleshoots and isolates faults
Uses spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines
Researches and selects repair parts needed
Enters work order data in the on-line management information system.
Operates workstations including After Action Review (AAR) and other control consoles and provides guidance to exercise participants manning the role player stations.
Assists in generation and control of AVCATT exercise scenarios, mission sets and master event training list objectives to meet military instructors, observer controllers, and unit commanders training objectives and intent.
Programs battle master controller radio frequencies, weapons configurations, navigation waypoints, target coordinates, and weather environmental parameters. Loads and verifies correct mission task conditions and standards prior to initialization of flight modules.
Applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
This position may require travel to other installations and other ATMP locations throughout CONUS.
Current incumbent on Warfighter FOCUS as a Simulation Maintenance Technician at Marana, AZ
Experience as 15T30 UH-60 Blackhawk or 15U30 CH-47 Chinook Non-Rated Crewmember or Flight Engineer, or DoD equivalent; combat experience desired.
2 - 5 years’ experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting
Basic computer skills
Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of course development and education methodology for working with adult learners in a military environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service and decision-making skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
