Supervisor II – Fort Carson

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. is currently seeking applicants for a Supervisor II position located at Fort Carson. This position will be on the ATMP (Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program), for the Digital Range Training System. (DRTS).

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Planning and scheduling of the work force.
  • Assist PM to prioritize work, maintenance work orders, sustainment, supporting day to day activities of employees and providing technical assistance to them as required.
  • Direct reporting to the PM on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Monitoring with the team’s key performances while maintaining a strategic direction for change management.
  • Monitor performance, and Safety establishing an exemplary safety culture while maintaining a high customer satisfaction and representing PLI and its core values.
  • Must have excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills and able to supervise a large workforce.
  • Ability to work out of scope tasks and cross utilize resources as required.
  • Must be team oriented, good character judgment, Ethical decision making, have a strong regard to safety.  
  • Supervise a team of hourly technicians and ensure compliance with Phoenix Logistics Incorporated directives and industry regulations.
  • Strong understanding of Risk Management and Risk Mitigation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or another closely related business field otherwise 5+ years of experience with Preventative Maintenance, Logistics Planning or Reliability Engineering in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Able to Operate SYSCON and EXCON work stations on the Digital Range Training System.
  • Capacity to communicate effectively, articulate business goals, company policies, terms and conditions as well as opportunities and risks.
  • Must have proven experience working cross-functionally with leaders at all levels, customers and technicians alike.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Project) applications.
  • Understanding of the requirements associated with Property Management of Government owned property
  • Direct Reporting.
  • Able to travel with short notice.
  • Flexibility to be available for shift work when needed to accomplish mission support requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven capability and strong desire to work in a challenging, fast paced environment.
  • Recent supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Project) applications.
  • Six Sigma training and/or experience
